Are you a motivated student with a passion for 3D printing and CAD software? KTM AG is looking for a Working Student to join our innovative R&D team in Güssing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment, supporting our engineers in the design, prototyping, and optimization of components using additive manufacturing technologies. You will work on real-world projects, applying your theoretical knowledge to practical challenges and contributing to the development of next-generation products. This role requires strong English communication skills, as you will be collaborating with an international team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist engineers with 3D model design and modification using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Prepare models for 3D printing, including slicing and support generation.
• Operate and maintain various 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS) and post-processing equipment.
• Perform quality checks on printed parts and provide feedback for design iteration.
• Document processes, material usage, and test results.
• Support the team in research and evaluation of new 3D printing materials and technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams on ongoing projects.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360).
• Basic understanding of 3D printing principles and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior hands-on experience with 3D printers.
• Familiarity with various additive manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience with design optimization for additive manufacturing (DfAM).
• Basic knowledge of G-code and printer calibration.
• Enthusiasm for automotive or motorsports industry.
