Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Analyst to join our dynamic team in Deutschlandsberg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions for the automotive industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues. This position requires strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach, and the ability to thrive in an English-speaking technical environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for product improvements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and clarity of new features.
• Setup and maintain test environments and test data.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for daily communication.
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, performance).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience in the automotive industry or with embedded systems.
• ISTQB certification.
