We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lettuce Farm Assistant to join our team in Wil, St. Gallen. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture and eager to learn the intricacies of large-scale lettuce cultivation. You will be actively involved in various stages of lettuce production, from planting and tending to harvesting and preparing fresh produce for market. This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with planting, transplanting, and spacing of lettuce seedlings.
• Perform general farm duties, including weeding, watering, and pest management under supervision.
• Monitor crop health and report any issues or anomalies to the farm manager.
• Participate in the harvesting of lettuce, ensuring quality and minimizing waste.
• Assist with post-harvest activities such as cleaning, sorting, and packaging produce.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
• Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized farm environment.
