We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Banking Associate to join our Capital Markets team in Zwickau. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing capital markets transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to gain significant exposure to complex financial products and work with a diverse client base within a prominent financial institution.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive industry and company-specific research to identify market trends and potential transaction opportunities.
• Assist in the origination and execution of various capital markets transactions, including equity offerings, debt issuances, and derivatives.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by acting as a key point of contact during transaction execution.
• Support due diligence processes, prepare offering memoranda, and other transaction-related documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product specialists, legal counsel, and risk management.
• Stay current with market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the capital markets.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts on financial analysis and project management tasks.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of strong teamwork and collaboration.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• CFA or equivalent professional certification.
• Prior experience with specific capital markets products (e.g., ECM, DCM, derivatives).
• Experience with European financial markets and regulations.
