Join IBM’s dynamic Cyber Security team in Traiskirchen for an exciting internship opportunity! This role is perfect for ambitious students or recent graduates eager to kickstart their career in cybersecurity. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge security technologies and methodologies. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong interest in cyber defense, threat intelligence, and secure systems. Crucially, proficiency in German is NOT required for this position; all communication within the team and during your tasks will be in English, making this an excellent opportunity for international candidates.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in monitoring security systems and analyzing security alerts.
• Contribute to incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
• Research emerging cyber threats and security best practices.
• Help develop and maintain security documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with team members on various security projects and initiatives.
• Participate in security awareness training and educational activities.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
