Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Hydrogen Storage Researcher to join our dynamic R&D team in Salzburg. This role is pivotal in advancing Linde’s commitment to clean energy solutions through the innovative development and optimization of advanced materials and systems for hydrogen storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fundamental and applied research, experimental design, data analysis, and contributing to the intellectual property of our next-generation hydrogen storage technologies. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments focused on hybrid hydrogen storage materials and systems.
- Develop and characterize novel materials for enhanced hydrogen adsorption/absorption and release kinetics.
- Investigate various storage mechanisms, including physisorption, chemisorption, and material-based storage solutions.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques (e.g., XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman, FTIR, TGA, DSC) for material characterization.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to accelerate research and development initiatives.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Contribute to the preparation of patent applications and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the laboratory.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hydrogen storage research, particularly with hybrid materials.
- Strong background in material synthesis and characterization techniques.
- Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific report writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Postdoctoral experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with high-pressure gas systems and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with computational modeling or simulation tools for materials science.
- Track record of publications in high-impact scientific journals.
- Knowledge of German language.
