Join Red Bull GmbH as an English Speaking Sports Performance Data Analyst, a pivotal role focused on leveraging data to optimize athlete performance across our diverse sporting endeavors. This hybrid position, based in Vienna, Austria, will see you working closely with coaches, sports scientists, and athletes to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Your insights will directly influence training methodologies, competitive strategies, and overall athletic development. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets related to athlete performance, training loads, biometric data, and competitive outcomes.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify performance trends, predict outcomes, and provide actionable insights.
• Create comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for coaches, sports scientists, and management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (coaching, medical, strength & conditioning) to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders, fostering data-driven decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports science, data analytics, and performance technology.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection methods and analytical tools.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of sports science principles, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic sports environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Sports Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with professional sports teams or organizations.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, wearable sensors, and other athlete monitoring technologies.
• Experience with advanced machine learning techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, clustering).
• Knowledge of German is a plus, but not required.
