Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Auction House Support team in Baden. This role is ideal for students looking to gain practical experience in the dynamic world of art auctions. You will provide essential administrative and logistical support, primarily assisting with client communication, data management, and operational tasks. Fluency in English is a critical requirement, as you will be interacting with an international clientele and managing English-language documentation. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a prestigious auction house while balancing your studies.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist with client inquiries via email and phone, ensuring clear and professional communication in English.
- Prepare and process auction documentation, including condition reports, consignment agreements, and invoices.
- Support the logistics team with the coordination of item intake, storage, and dispatch.
- Maintain and update client databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Translate and proofread marketing materials and item descriptions from German to English, and vice versa.
- Assist during auction viewings and live auction events, providing client support as needed.
- Perform general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations of the department.
- Collaborate with various departments, including specialists, marketing, and finance.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (e.g., Art History, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (C1/C2 level).
- Proficiency in German (B2/C1 level) for local communication and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in art, antiques, or the auction industry.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Previous experience in an administrative support role or customer service is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or auction software.
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian).
- Availability to work approximately 16-20 hours per week.
