We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Global Logistics team in Göttingen. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing the flow of goods across international borders, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining robust communication channels with various stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating complex logistics operations, managing inventory, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our supply chain processes. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Coordinate and monitor global shipments, including customs clearance and documentation, to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve any arising issues.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and support forecasting activities to optimize stockholding and availability.
- Process orders, prepare accurate shipping documents, and maintain detailed records in our enterprise systems.
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner, minimizing disruptions.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with international shipping regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
- Support the implementation of new logistics strategies, technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in supply chain management or global logistics.
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international business environment.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with specific logistics platforms or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Fluency in German (C1 level or higher) is a significant advantage for local communication.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Project management experience or involvement in process improvement projects.
