Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Proofreading Intern to join our content team in Ybbs an der Donau. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the media industry, working with a variety of content types including articles, marketing materials, and digital publications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent command of English, and a passion for ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Review and proofread various content pieces (articles, blogs, marketing copy, website content) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and stylistic consistency.
• Ensure all content adheres to established brand style guides and linguistic standards.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and content creators to clarify ambiguities and suggest improvements.
• Verify factual accuracy where necessary.
• Assist in maintaining and updating style guides and linguistic resources.
• Provide constructive feedback on content quality and readability.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
• Solid understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.
