We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our English-speaking research laboratory in Ulm. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models and algorithms for various critical applications. You will work within a dynamic team of researchers and engineers, contributing to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of AI in areas such as predictive analytics, computer vision, and natural language processing. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with specific domains such as computer vision, NLP, or reinforcement learning.
