Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Livestock Feeder to join our farm operations team in Erlangen. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare and interested in a career in agriculture. You will be instrumental in ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock through consistent feeding and monitoring practices. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe farm environment. You will work closely with experienced farm managers and contribute to the efficient daily operations of the farm.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare and distribute feed rations to various livestock according to strict schedules and dietary guidelines.
• Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report any concerns to farm management immediately.
• Clean and maintain feeding areas, water troughs, and animal pens to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Assist with the movement and handling of livestock as required.
• Record feed consumption, animal health observations, and other relevant data accurately.
• Operate farm machinery and equipment safely, as directed.
• Adhere to all farm safety protocols and animal welfare standards.
