Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Hybrid Water Purification Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Meyrin. This role involves a blend of on-site project management, technical design, and remote collaboration, focusing on the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced water purification systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in water treatment processes, a commitment to sustainability, and the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement advanced water purification systems for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for new water treatment technologies and upgrades.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of water purification plants and equipment.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international water quality standards and environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and operational manuals.
• Research and integrate new purification technologies and sustainable practices into existing and future projects.
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in water treatment plant design, operations, or project management.
• Profound knowledge of various water purification processes (e.g., coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, membrane processes, disinfection).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for system design.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and pipeline design.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team (on-site and remote).
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with wastewater treatment processes.
• Familiarity with Swiss environmental regulations and water quality standards.
• PMP or other project management certification.
• Experience with SCADA systems and process automation.
