We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid Lean Manufacturing Expert to join our Operations team at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. This role is crucial for optimizing our production processes, implementing Lean methodologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Lean principles, a proven ability to lead change, and a collaborative spirit to work with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of on-site presence at our state-of-the-art facility in Bremen and flexibility for remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and facilitate Lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S implementation.
• Develop and implement robust process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Mentor and train manufacturing teams on Lean principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure seamless integration of Lean practices.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and sustain improvements.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the plant.
• Support the digitalization of manufacturing processes and integration of Industry 4.0 concepts.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Lean Manufacturing Expert or similar role in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management and change management techniques.
• Fluent in English and German.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.

• Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools and systems.
