We are seeking a warm, responsible, and enthusiastic English-speaking Nanny / Au Pair to join a lovely family in Frankfurt am Main. This is a unique live-in opportunity to become an integral part of a family’s daily life, providing essential childcare support and fostering a stimulating, English-speaking environment for their children. The role involves assisting with daily routines, engaging in educational and recreational activities, and offering light household support. You will have the chance to experience German culture firsthand while providing valuable care and companionship.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, overseeing their daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, creative play, and outdoor adventures.
- Assist with homework and school projects as needed, encouraging a positive learning attitude.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for children, accommodating any dietary needs.
- Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times, both inside and outside the home.
- Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas, doing children's laundry, and maintaining their rooms.
- Transport children to and from school, activities, or appointments as required.
- Foster a consistent English-speaking environment to support the children's language development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's development, daily activities, and any concerns.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Fluent in English (native speaker preferred)
- Previous experience (at least 1 year) in childcare, babysitting, or nannying
- Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor
- Ability to plan and execute engaging activities for children
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license (preferably European or international)
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Childcare certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR for children)
- Educational background in early childhood development or related field
- Basic knowledge of German language
- Experience living abroad or in a live-in childcare role
- Ability to swim
