This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join Amnesty International as an Education Intern. In this fully remote role, you will contribute to our mission by supporting the development and delivery of English-language educational content and initiatives. You will work closely with our education team, gaining valuable experience in human rights education, content creation, and NGO operations. This internship is ideal for someone looking to make a tangible impact and build a career in the non-profit sector, specifically focusing on human rights and education.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the research, development, and editing of English-language educational materials, including lesson plans, articles, and digital resources.
• Support the coordination and promotion of online educational workshops and webinars.
• Translate and adapt educational content from German to English, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance (if applicable).
• Help maintain and organize the digital library of educational resources.
• Contribute to social media content and communication strategies related to educational initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new educational projects.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the education team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Demonstrated interest in human rights, social justice, and education.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program (e.g., Education, English, Human Rights, International Relations).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms or content management systems.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) for educational material enhancement.
• Knowledge of an additional language, particularly German, is a plus.
• Previous volunteer or internship experience with an NGO or educational institution.
