Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our team in Hamburg. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of various contracts, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives across different business units. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who thrives in a dynamic international environment, as fluency in German is NOT a prerequisite for this position. You will work closely with legal, sales, and procurement teams, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and strategic goals.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution, monitoring, and renewal/termination.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, collaborating closely with legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and external vendors/clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract summaries, reports, and analyses for presentation to senior management.
  • Facilitate and coordinate contract reviews and approvals with relevant departments, ensuring timely processing.
  • Administer and maintain accurate records within contract management systems and databases.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters to various business units.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for contract management processes and tools.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in contract management, procurement, or a related legal/commercial field.
  • Excellent understanding of contract law principles, commercial terms, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with full professional fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using contract management software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCM, IACCM, Paralegal) in contract management or a related area.
  • Experience within the healthcare technology, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with international contract standards and cross-border agreements.
