We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cloud Computing Intern to join our innovative team at Google Cloud. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work alongside experienced engineers and architects, contributing to real-world projects and learning best practices in cloud infrastructure, operations, and development. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Germany, fostering a flexible and collaborative environment.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Participate in the development and automation of cloud infrastructure processes and tools.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Contribute to documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and solutions.
- Learn and apply best practices for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development in various cloud technologies.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, C++, etc.).
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Prior experience with any cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
