We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js and/or Python to join our dynamic engineering team in Hamm. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services that power our core digital products and platforms. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js or Python.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Integrate with various databases (SQL and NoSQL) and external services.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical design of new and existing systems.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven professional experience as a Backend Engineer with Node.js and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of backend frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Flask.
• Proficiency with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
