Join our dynamic team at DHL Express as a Courier Sorting Belt Loader in Lausanne. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to contribute to the efficient flow of international and domestic packages. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously load and unload packages onto our sorting belts, ensuring accurate and timely processing. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence. No prior experience in logistics is required, and importantly, no German language skills are necessary for this role; basic English communication is sufficient.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Efficiently load and unload packages of varying sizes and weights onto conveyor belts for sorting.
• Scan packages accurately using handheld devices to ensure proper tracking and routing.
• Sort packages according to destination, ensuring they are placed on the correct belt or in the appropriate staging area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the sorting belt area and surrounding workspace.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg regularly throughout a shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
• A valid work permit for Switzerland.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment or inventory management systems (training will be provided).
