Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Plum Tomato Pickers for the upcoming harvest season in Delémont. This is a crucial role responsible for carefully selecting and harvesting ripe plum tomatoes from our fields, ensuring only the highest quality produce makes it to our customers. No prior German language skills are required for this position; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are dedicated to manual agricultural work. You will be working outdoors, contributing directly to the success of our harvest, and playing a vital part in bringing fresh, local tomatoes to tables across Switzerland.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Carefully pick ripe plum tomatoes by hand, following specific quality guidelines.
• Inspect tomatoes for defects, damage, or immaturity, discarding unsuitable produce.
• Place picked tomatoes gently into designated containers to prevent bruising.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the fields.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Work efficiently and cooperatively as part of a diverse team.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding crop quality or field conditions to supervisors.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, heat).
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for careful picking and sorting.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• No German language skills required; basic English or another common language is beneficial for team communication.
