We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer specializing in Big Data to join our innovative team in Reutlingen, Germany. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Implement data governance, data quality, and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data infrastructure and systems for performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and processes.
• Evaluate and implement new big data technologies and tools to enhance our data platform capabilities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their big data services.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and processing.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
