Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented NDT Technician to join our Industrial Inspection team in Ingolstadt, Bavaria. In this role, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing on various industrial components and structures to ensure their integrity, safety, and compliance with national and international standards. This is an essential role in maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety for our clients across diverse sectors.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT) on industrial equipment and structures.
- Interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed NDT reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspections.
- Operate and calibrate NDT equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to understand inspection requirements and provide technical support.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during inspection activities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of NDT procedures and techniques.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience as an NDT Technician in an industrial environment.
- Certified to at least Level II in multiple NDT methods (e.g., UT, MT, PT, VT) according to EN ISO 9712 or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of NDT principles, methodologies, and safety practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant engineering or technical field.
- Additional NDT certifications (e.g., Eddy Current Testing – ET, Radiographic Testing – RT).
- Experience with advanced NDT techniques.
- Knowledge of specific industry standards (e.g., pressure vessels, pipelines, automotive).
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
