Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our globally distributed team. This is a 100% remote position, perfect for an English-speaking professional passionate about agile methodologies and driving high-performing teams. You will be instrumental in guiding our development teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and coaching team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices. Your ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization will be key to success in this dynamic role.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the development team on self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Help the product owner in their efforts to manage the product backlog.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to do so.
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
• Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Support and educate the product owner, especially with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlog.
• Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style and lead by example.
• Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Ensure clear communication and transparency both within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team's processes and practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, as the primary working language.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, practices, and values.
• Experience with widely adopted Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
• Experience in facilitating large groups and ensuring productive outcomes.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (PSM I/II).
• Experience working with globally distributed and multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, SAFe) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with hardware and software integration projects.
